VANCOUVER PENTHOUSE: Designing sanctuary. The location defined the essence of this project. Embracing the beauty of Vancouver and the perfection of this window on the world provided a wonderful canvas for this project. Project entails a complete design and build out of an eleventh-floor penthouse residence at Vancouver Bay. Concept was to create a contemporary sanctuary high above the Vancouver skyline. Materials, surfaces and colors were chosen to capture a modern interior with a warm and comforting environment. All interior furniture, fixtures & lighting were designed and fabricated for this project. The natural beauty of the location drove much of the simplicity of the form language while influences of the bay, ships and docks added an underplayed of industrial contrast.
